Hey, I'm Noah
Project manager and parent. An expat living in Toronto, Canada.
A few years back, I moved here with my family. What began as a temporary assignment gradually became a new chapter of life abroad.
How It Started
Moving to Canada wasn’t in the long-range plan. Like many expat moves, it started with a job opportunity and soon grew into something far bigger.
The early weeks were demanding — unfamiliar processes, new habits, heightened expectations. Routine chores seemed more complicated than they ought to be.
The Adjustment Period
There was culture shock, doubt, and plenty of hands-on learning. Gradually, routines took shape. We found spots that fit us, connected with other families, and began creating something that felt steady.
Why I Built Lunar Lumen Pollen
Most online guidance was either corporate relocation tips or shallow tourism content. What was missing was a real, everyday family viewpoint.
This site aims to bridge that gap — practical advice drawn from actual life in Canada.
What This Site Covers (And Excludes)
This site IS:
- Practical know-how from living in Canada
- Centered on family life and everyday realities
- Updated whenever something truly changes
This site ISN'T:
- Not a resource from a tourism authority
- A platform for sponsored reviews
- Just another generic travel blog
Looking Forward
Our stay in Canada continues, and so does the learning journey. As long as the information remains useful, I will continue recording what we uncover.
If you have questions about family life in Toronto or anywhere in Canada, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Best regards,
Noah
